This is the result of two-years´ process of restructuring the airport. The certificate confirms that the airport is suitable for permanent providing high-quality services to customers according to required regulations and it sets the standard leading to continuous improving of services.
“Currently the airport provides private flights, lease of premises for organizing various events, also hot-air baloon flights, tandem skydiving and other adrenalin activities”, says director of Air services Roman Zindulka and he adds that the airport has strategic location and it is connected to municipal transport and road network including motorway. The regulation of ISO (ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009) includes special quality management requirements.
Certified organization confirms that it is capable to provide continuously services meeting the prescribed requirements and customer´s needs. “It is our aim that the airport will become the place for civil aviation and that people from Hradec Králové and its surroundings will be able to fly from the airport to their holiday or business trips.
The fact we gained the certificate ensures our continuous development in future,” predicts director Zindulka. Airport in Hradec Králové organizes many events exceeding regional and Czech boundaries. This year the airport organized the third year of sightseeing flights for the handicapped (Open skies for handicapped). This event is unique in the whole Europe. Every year wide public is attracted by the greatest presentation of Czech military air technique on Czech International Air Festival (CIAF).
Currently the airport has the status of public domestic airport and and nonpublic international airport within Schengen area
